Through searching many websites and the discussions here I've been able to understand that the issue persists because of the removal of SecuROM from Windows 10.

Its been a while since I last played this game, my old PC ran Windows Vista and later on Windows 7 and I never had issues playing the game.īut since upgrading to Windows 10 and later on getting a new PC with Windows 10 pre-installed I've been having issues playing the game.
